 CANCELLATION AND MODIFICATION POLICIES

You have 15 days before the arrival date to cancel or modify the reservation for free. If you cancel or modify the reservation later or you don’t show up, the establishment will charge the entire stay.

WE HAVE A NON REFUNDS POLICY.

In case that you cancel your reservation 15 days before your arrival date we will issue a CREDIT NOTE valid for a period of 6 months from the date of issuance of the note. This credit cannot be refunded in cash and can only be used for future reservations at Posada de San Carlos. You may be required to pay an adjustment room rate fee if applicable.

CHANGE RESERVATION DATES:

If you want to change your reservation dates, you must pay a penalty of Q 150 per room, likewise you must pay a rate adjustment when the case applies. In order to make date changes, you must notify the hotel at least 15 days in advance of your arrival date.

NO SHOW POLICY: we will charge you the total amount including taxes. During Easter week and New Year’s Eve cancellations are not accepted.

Total room taxes of 22% will be added to the room rate per night.

PET POLICY: One pet is allowed per room (dog or cat) for free and accepting our regulations. The hotel reserves the right to accept and/or assign a different room from requested.

The hotel also reserves the right to accept, deny or withdraw any accompanied guest of a dangerous pet or that is causing problems on the property.

FAMILY POLICY: 1 children under 5 years old stay free in their parent’s room. To ensure the safety and well-being of your children, our Front Desk’ Staff will kindly ask you to present the identification of each child at your arrival.

ADDITIONAL PERSON: Q150 will be charged for an additional person after the established rate. Children up to 3 years old stay free if they sleep with their parents. Additional Bed Q200

PARKING: external parking located 200 meters from the hotel. Subject to availability. Please note that you need to reserve the parking service in advance

BREAKFAST: The included breakfasts are served from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. The breakfast included is House Breakfast (scrambled eggs, beans, plantains, salsa ranchera, and bread).

NO VISITORS: For your safety and ours, no visitors are allowed to enter the rooms.

DAMAGE OR LOSS: Any damage or loss caused by the guest must be paid for the value established by the hotel.

NO SMOKING: According to Decree 74-2008 Law on the Creation of Tobacco Smoke-Free Environments, smoking is prohibited in the hotel. In case of smoking inside the room, you will be charged Q 500 to your account.

QUIET TIME: the Quiet Time is between 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. After 2 warnings for excessive loudness, will be asked to leave the Hotel without a Refund.
